AAON units are not specifically designed to support Architectural Screens.
Attaching architectural screens will not itself directly void the AAON warranty, but any damage caused by these screens will not be covered under the warranty. This is a concern especially under high wind loads.
AAON is not responsible for reductions to unit performance caused by restricted airflow or recirculation due to the screens.
AAON cannot offer recommendations or approval on the use of architectural screens since this is not an AAON tested installation. We do not have any data for how this will affect air circulation around the unit.
A qualified engineer will need to analyze the airflow around the screens and how they will impact circulation for all air streams.
