Disassembling the unit for lifting is something AAON advises against. At no time should any part of the refrigeration circuit be removed. Removal or alteration of brazed components will void the warranty.
The AAON warranty does not cover any AAON® unit or part thereof which has been subject to accident, negligence, damages in transit, misuse or abuse; or which has been tampered with or altered in any way; or which has not been installed operated serviced and maintained in accordance with our instructions; or which has been installed outside of the Continental United States or Canada; or on which the serial number or identification number has been altered defaced, or removed.
Care must be taken with proper reinstallation of components. All components removed should be reinstalled by a qualified professional in accordance with industry standards and applicable AAON guidelines.
